Grobag baby sleeping bags are one of the best-selling sleeping bags in the United Kingdom.  Available in a wide range of designs, sizes and Tog ratings you will certainly find one to suit your baby/child. Tog Ratings are a way of classifying the insulative properties of a sleeping bag. 0.5 tog Grobags are of a lighter design and best used in higher temperatures (such as a UK summer). The 1.0 Tog range are more suited for Spring-Summer-Autumn use and for colder weather the 2.5 Tog rating is recommended.Grobag Tog Values Explained. Many parents find that using a baby sleeping bag is a good way of getting their baby to sleep through the night. One reason for this is that a sleeping bag cannot be kicked off like conventional baby bedding which stops the baby from getting cold and waking up. The actual Grobag design and configuration may vary between sizes with some zips being on the front and other zips on the side. Some designs will also have shoulder straps. Travel Grobags. Some of the designs incorporate provision for a 5 point harness to be used with the Grobag Sleeping Bag. These are called travel bags and are great for minimising the chances of waking your baby when transferring in or out of cars. Which is great if your little one is snoozing and you need to take them out in your car. Current Grobag designs for travel are the Alphapets and Gro-ing Places designs.
