A tog rating describes the warmth of a product and is widely used in the UK to rate duvets. Grobag® baby sleeping bags are available in 3 different tog ratings.

Grobag 2.5 Tog Rating
2.5 tog Grobag baby sleeping bags are very versatile and can be used for 75% of the year – simply adjust the level of nightwear worn, depending on your individual baby and temperature of the bedroom.

Grobag 1.0 Tog Rating
1.0 Grobag® baby sleeping bags are superb if your baby’s bedroom is generally warmer than 21°c and in warmer weather. They are also very useful for children with itchy skins, eczema or allergies.

Grobag 0.5 Tog Rating
The 0.5 tog range is ideal for high summer, holidays abroad or for children with fevers or raised temperatures. In spring we suggest you use a 1.0 tog Grobag® baby sleeping bag for daytime naps and a 2.5 tog Grobag® baby sleeping bags until the nights get warmer.
